O/T Thank you!

Thank you all very much for your support and thoughtful prayers. My mom is fine, the surgery is over. I haven't spoken to her yet, but my dad reports that while she was groggy last night, she is feeling OK...thanks to the morphine and the surgeon said the operation went great. I am so much more at ease, knowing she is doing well. If you have loved ones nearby...mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, brothers/sisters...you are so fortunate. My nearest family is 2500 miles away, and yesterday I felt every millimeter of that distance. I want so much to be able to give my mom a big hug...so if your family is close at hand...give them big HUGS for me...and count your geographic blessings! Again, thank you all for your prayers. I know that God watched over my mom and gave me a special Christmas gift...a deeper appreciation of my family. God bless you all, and Merry Christmas! Jen
