Reputable Tattoo Parlor?

I want to get the tattoo I've wanted since I was 16 for my bday.... Do ya have a tatoo? Where did ya get it? What is it of? Are you happy with it? I was thinking of going to Jade Dragon because they are so well known. But I was thinking about going to the guy that pierced my tongue. He's kinda far though. So......?????

I got mine at a tattoo place in Marengo, IL - which I think is probably too far north for you. I really really love it - its a huge tribal one on the small of my back with my surgery date in the middle. It's totally hot! It cost a lot - $340 - but it took like 6 hours...it was my first tattoo.

I got mine at Jade Dragon. Coco did it. A custom design just for me. Just make sure that where you go the use disposable needles and ink trays. Remember that it is forever. Miss Avery

Skip Jade Dragon, I know a lot of people that werent happy with his/their work. I got mine from a friend that worked in a tattoo shop that doesnt exist anymore about 13 years ago. I have one on my outer left ankle. It's a Fleur de Lis (my family crest) and a rose. I love it and the guy who did it was great.. But you'd have to go to San Diego .. I got it at a place called Avalon in Pacific Beach. They were great.. the guy had to find a picture of a fleur de lis because he didn't know what it was.. so other than the outline of that, the thing was free-hand.. it's gorgeous.. (and could probably use a little touch up.. I got it when I was 28). I want another one.. but it'll be on my hip and not until I get my PS done. Stef

Biscuit, I go to Tattoo City in Lockport. My artists name is Larry Brogan and he has won TONS of awards. he is also the shop owner. The most recent tat he gave me won an award for womens full color medium at this years Inkin Lincoln tattoo Festival. You will have to make your appointment in person and might have to put down a $20.00 deposit but it is WELL WORTH IT. I have friends that had work done at Jade Dragon and they totally regret it! they suck! ~Jenn -98

No new photo??? I'm gonna get a tattoo done once I leave my hubby which is gonna be real soon!! Mickey Mouse in a tuxedo with a cane that says "Mi Libertad" under him (my freedom)....maybe you could hook me up with "your guy?" Just haven't figured out where to put it yet....
