Have you had your consultation yet? Where are you in your insurance process? This board/bored whichever it is hehe is great!

Yes I have had my first consultation. I see that you will be having your surgery the 21st.

Yes, I'm very excited. Dr Vaughn is great! You should talk to Paula sometime she just had surgery with Dr. Boe she is doing fantastic.(at the support group she had been out two weeks and lost 22 lbs) You should also consider coming to the support group meetings the people there are very nice and informative! They meet on the first Monday of the month. Should I call the clinic to see if they have sent all my information to my insurance company yet my apt was dec 7th.

Well I called the insurance company for about a week and they kept saying they hadn't received anything from barix yet about that time I got a letter from the barix insurance department. It gave me the list of things my insurance required (pych eval, medical records, doctors refrence) and a number to fax those things to. After I did all of that they forwarded it all to my insurance company for me. If you are concerned I would call though... after my pre approval was submitted I called every day! I'm sure they hated me but it went through super fast! Good Luck!
