The Last Supper
Tommorrow, after noon, I am on clear liquids until Midnight and then I am npo (no food****il after surgery. So tonight of course I went out for my last supper. I'd never been to Red Lobster before so my friends and I went there of course... and they there was actually discussion over who wanted pay for me... they all did!! ha ha
So my surgery is in 1 day and 4 hours and 15 minutes (not that I'm counting) and I'm so excited. I'm not really nervous, but who knows that might change when I show up to the hospital. I'm not sure what else I can do to prepare at this point. I just wish time didn't seem to be passing so slowly!
Also I want to thank everyone for all the support they have given me especially Sassy Cathy and Terry and everyone else! You guys are so great!
Love
Brooke
That is soo awesome Brooke! Your day is finally here(almost)
I have never been to Red Lobster either, was it any good? I'm not a sea food fanatic so I almost hate to go somewhere if I'm not sure I'll even eat it..lol
I understand what you say when your excited. I've not yet got a date, but I'm not worried about the surgery either. I'm putting my faith to the Lord, he will help us through it.
The only thing I really worry about are my kids. If they'll be good for my mom and husband while Im in the hospital..lol
Cause they are a HANDFUL. (but I'll enjoy the break, even if I am in the hospital..lol)
Brooke,
My surgeon required clear fluids a week before surgery so LUCKY YOU!
For my last supper I had "chicken atlanta" from a place here locally called Lottawatta Creek... IT WAS FAB!
You will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight and tomorrow and until we here how wonderful you are doing on the losing side.
Good luck!!!
Debby
