Thanks to everyone!
Terry I see your having surgery on the 27th... I am guess this means your surgeon got you in before the deadline of the insurance co?
You'll be in my prayers. and I keep saying this to all pre-ops
WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK
Make yourself do it. It will make all the difference in the world on how fast you feel better. I think my walking is the reason I did no pain meds after surgery night and refused them when coming home.
I'm so excited for you!!!!!
Debby
Thanks, Debby. I know you're right, that gas it almost worse than anything else. Jeff and I will be walking the halls, and I'll remember what you said.
Turns out, the scheduling person at Barix didn't quite give me the whole story. I talked to Humana, and their contract is being renewed on January 1st, but there's nothing mentioned that they won't be doing the surgery anymore. I think the scheduling person needs to learn to stop giving out partial information. I'm not the type that gets hysterical, but she definitely made it sound like this wasn't going to happen and that it would cost $9000. I could wait until January, but I've decided to go ahead and have it now.
