How much does it really cost?

When we went to the seminar at Barix in Belvidere, we were told the surgery would cost $25,000. Yesterday, the scheduling person there said it was $45,000. How much does it really cost, especially for those of you who had it done at Barix in Belvidere? Terry

I wasn't at Barix, but mine was in the range of $35 - $40K just for the surgery and hospital stay. Stef

I had it done in Barix in Belvidere! $25,500. $21,500.00 to the hospital and $4000 to the surgeon. Although if you have certain complications I guess you might be charged more. My insurance didnt cover it so I paid out of pocket. Good Luck Colleen

Hi Terry, I had my surgery at Barix in Belvidere. According to my EOB from the insurance company, it was total around $50K with hospital and surgery and labs and anestesiologist (sp). But it was worth every penny and I only have to pay about $800. Who is going to be your doctor?? Lea Ann

I prefer wal mart ha ha ha ... serious though thats all I have to pay after insurance!
