Is food any good?
I don't know where you are on your post-op diet but once I got off of liquids, foods got easier to tolerate -- once I could taste again.. and chew.. then when I went to soft and all as tolerated, it got better again.
Some things I used to love before, I can't stand now.. that's something I don't understand and I don't think I ever will.. but I think over time, our bodies either adjust or we find new things that are pallatable.
Keep your chin up,
Stef

I thought about your post some more last night after I got home.. and it occurred to me that when I take a larger bite and have to chew it up, having all that mush in my mouth does get pretty unappetizing..
maybe try taking baby spoon bites and see if that makes it easier? It'll take way longer to eat.. but it may make food more appealing to you..
Good luck.. I know it will get better but I hope this helps in the meantime.
