The great thing is he still gets years to think about what he threw away while the appeals go through. Too bad they won't put him with the general population, but he still will have a very miserable existence. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

I think finally, someone got what they deserved. He still shows no emtion, he's going to have a tough time on death row, you dont go around killing your unborn kid...even on death row thats bad! Cathy, good luck on that final tonight im off to try and have a somewhat tasty dinner

Well, I don't think there was enough evidence to convict him. I think the jury convicted purely on emotion, not on good evidence. I also think it will be overturned, although in CA he will have to serve 5 years on death row before he can even begin the appeal process. The news said tonight that a death row inmate in CA is far more likely to die from old age than from lethal injection. Also, I do think that its feasible that Laci killed herself. I think SP is an asshole, but that in itself does not a murderer make.

Dixie, They were discussing this on the main board and I was the only one that felt the same way as you did and was AFRAID to say so! LOL I too feel like he did it, but there was NO hard evidence to convict him. I can not believe that they gave him death with him being convicted on cir****tantial evidence. I haven't followed the story enough to say YAY OR NAY. If he really DID do it..FANTASTIC! Die motherf*cker! If not, WHOOPS. LOL I think that he is going to have a FABULOUS time in prison.
