Interesting about this whole debacle...

I have to say that I'm surprised at the response to my comments.
I also have to say I'm surprised at the number of amateur psychologists we have on this board.. and among those how many of you think you know me.
Dixie, you can think whatever you like about me. Same for Konni, Mr. C. and well.. anyone else who has a problem with and has formulated a hypothesis based on what I said earlier today.
Let me spell it all out for you guys.
It annoyed me that a thread was started under the GUISE of being a cry for help or support. That was my MAIN issue and still is. The spelling thing is a GENERAL issue I have with MANY people (which is why I said it secondarily and why I pointed out that it was a problem I have with ANYONE -- NOT JUST CHANDRA -- but I guess in your blind outrage, it was easy to miss that part).
Getting annoyed by someone misleading me into thinking they were treated badly on this board or anywhere else brought me to a point of wanting to say something about it. I did. Chandra didn't like it.
I will not apologize for speaking up that I was annoyed by Chandra starting a thread with a misleading title.. It's like playing a mean joke on someone by calling and saying ... "Your mom is in the hospital" and then when you get there, they meet you at the door laughing. It's rude and it bothers me and I said so.
That the rest of you guys decided to zero in on the spelling and grammar thing and completely ignore my ACTUAL ISSUE with the post is really just beyond me.

For the 4th and final time, I will say that there wasn't and STILL ISN'T any malice in what I said to Chandra. Being mean spirited requires malice, folks, and I hate to break it to you guys but it ain't there. You might think you read it into what is there, but I put the words down and I'm telling you it ain't there. You're just gonna have to take my word for it. If I met her on the street tomorrow (or any one of you, for that matter), I would greet Chandra or you with the same hug and kisses I would have the day before today!
That's my final word on the subject. I've asked concisely that thread titles match their subject matter... or at least give an indication of being OT as a consideration to other board members.

First of all...interesting that you feel the need to defend yourself...even though you 'did nothing wrong'. Hm.
Secondly, being mean spirited does not require malice...it requires a lack of being able to act like even 1/2 a decent human being;) Which you demonstrated in a GRAND way. I'll give you that....you did it big.
Thirdly, if you see me on the street, do me a favor and skip the fake kisses and hugs......we've all seen the real Steph now, and I'd prefer you keep walking.

You seem to feel you have some special right to declassify people as human beings based on your judgment of their character???
I don't know why you felt the need to do that, but my guess is you were simply waiting for the opportunity.

I admit i was wrong for posting the post the way i did. I didnt mean it to make anyone mad,we all laughed even you.Then Step made a comment about my spelling,and then did it again,and then said basically we all make typos from time to time.. but come on. Prove to the rest of the world that U.S. public schools aren't the dismal failure they appear to be based on our grammar.I also can't tell you (or anyone) that I find it eternally annoying when ANYONE can't spell the simplest words. Particularly when it's probably not that you're actually illiterate.. it's probably just laziness.
How rude is that if someone said that to you.

I never for one moment forgot the "MAIN" issue you had with Chandras post....but I think YOU did! Rather than just tell her you were disappointed in the fact she started a thread under the "GUISE" of being a cry for help or support and leaving it the that...your "MAIN" issue...you processed to belittle her openly in a forum that is intented for support. I don't have a problem with her having spelling mistakes or gramatical errors...its a board not a high school exam. And I certainly didn't need to see a lecture on the subject just because "YOU" are/were annoyed about it. THAT annoyed me. People who feel the need to always say whats on their minds no matter who it hurts or affects also annoys ME and of course while I'm venting all the issues that annoy ME...lol...I better stick in there that people that "think" they are ALWAYS right also annoy me...oh wait...I'm off topic now this isnt about ME!

....do you truly feel the two compare at all?...she didnt do anything even remotely close to what you are suggesting here. Are you sure this isnt just a case of YOU have to be right and thats the end of it?...you can't possibly see that you made a mountain out of a mole hill?...do you not feel anything inside when you consider the fact that you may have hurt someones feelings?

...would it have made a difference if she had posted "OT" beside her title on that post?...no...I dont think so...I think it would have received the same response from you and I just don't understand why you had to cut her down the way you did just because you were annoyed about it...I repeat...that is the wonderful thing about the way OH has set this forum up...there IS a way to express yourself in private also but you felt it was more fitting to do it in public...hmm?...and you are surprised at the responses?

Don't take the Queen Diva thing so seriously...you are of course entitled to your opinion and to be annoyed at what ever annoys you...but no one died and made you Queen Diva of this board which somehow entitles you to belittle someone and hurt their feelings in a public forum and then be surprised at the responses you get
...your "MAIN" issue could have and should have been left at that but you expanded on it to include a personal attach on Chandra.............so once again...lets chill out here and start taking a good look at ourselves instead of at others...love and be loved 
....we are all here for the same thing...support, encouragement, information and the occasional laugh...the belittling and personal attacks should be left at the door!
