Slow moving dr??

Hi everyone hope you all had a great day. I was just looking at some of the evening posts and seen a comment that dr. oliphant moves a little slow with getting the scheduling etc. does anyone have a guess, or personal experience as to how slow this process goes with him? Thanks to everyone who continues to answer all of my questions. Anita

hey Anita! I got my packet from Dr. Oliphant in March, had to resend my info in April because they never did recieve it(make copies of yours..lol) Roma called me in June ( I think the 17th) to schedule a consult for December 20th. But I called monthly from July on to see if there were any cancellations and got lucky and got in to see Dr. Oliphant on Oct.18 and the dietician on Nov 8th. Now that I have everything in as of Friday(Dec 3rd) I am just waiting on my approval from public aid. I've heard that you usually have to wait 3-4 months before you can have surgery because he only does like 1 public aid case a month, which is why it takes longer. When I find out a date, I will e-mail you and let you know so you have an idea. Hope this helps ya out!
