Giovanna,
NOOOOOOOOOO! I've never had bariatric surgery, but I've had more operations than you can shake a stick at, and believe me, there's an extremely important reason for not having anything in your stomach. If for some reason you should regurgitate while under anesthesia, you could accidently aspirate it into your lungs, and that could be life-threatening. I know how hungry you must be, but don't give in, PLEASE!

Hey, Your doing great. Keep drinking tha****er and eating that jello or broth. I actually cheated (Unintentionally) this morning. I ate half of a lean pocket ham and cheese. Thank God it was soooo early in the morning. I have been drinking water water water. Then at noon I took that magnesium citrate. Let's just say, what I HAD eaten, isn't there anymore.
I talked to my surgeon's nurse, he said to just stick to the liquid diet. I'm not even eating jello or broth. JUs****er...I'm so hungry, but I'm going to watch tv and I'll go to bed around 9pm or so.
I have to get up at 4:30 to get ready and everything. Good Luck to you, I can't wait till the IV at least then we won't be so hungry hhehehe.
See you on the other side!
P.S. Are you having it open or LAP?

Good luck to all of those having surgery tommorrow! I know it is VERY hard to not be able to eat, but it will be over soon! You are bringing up all the memories for me of what it felt like. It is well worth it and you won't be hungry tommorrow. See you on the losing side soon! Best wishes!
