Question

Well, I found a dr here that can get me in tomorrow(Wed). The only thing is that I have to pay 150.00 out of pocket. With it being sooo close to the holidays, that kind of sucks, but I've gotta do what I've gotta do, ya know?? Dr. Oliphants office had me an eval set up for up there, on JAN 28th. There is noooooo way in hell I want to wait another 2 months. I've been working at this for 9 months already. I've waited long enough..lol After ya'll had the psych eval done, how long did it take for public aid to approve you for the surgery??? And how long did it take for the drs office to get your eval?? Thanks for the help ya'll

Well HI hunny!! Well shoot i dont know that one wish i did tho cause i already had my eval done and i have my first visit with Dr.O Feb 5 i beleive..rrrrrrrrrrrr such a long wait and i started this over a yr ago....

hey! I hear ya about starting so long ago. I'm hoping someone knows an approximate amount of time. I dont want to wait any longer than what I have to. I'm starting to become antsy with the whole process. I want it done like yesterday.... I'm sooo not a patient person, and this has about made me nuts cause I sooo need to have this done. hugs to ya! how is everyone doing???

Doing ok here( i hear ya about wanting it done like yesterday)I have been dealing with a cold and sore throat,and I only had two birds live out of four the other two were just to weak.These two are so ugly they are cute

Hi Lora, I have medicare and medicade and it went really fast for me. I have to pay my dr. out of pocket what medicare doesnt cover cause he doesnt take medicade but the hospital does, so everything elese will be covered for me. My experience was he had an approval within a week after my initial consult. Hope that helps Good luck Giovanna

I was self pay for my psych evaluation. I had it done on New Year's Eve last year and my surgery was Jan. 5th of this year. I don't know about the Public Aide part, but this is how it went with my insurance. Hope this helps. Deb Ski
