Best and most economical protein powder
Hi everyone,
I know there have been posts regarding protein powder but instead of trying to find them, I thought I would ask... Can anyone tell me what they prefer for protein powder and where is the best place to purchase? I have heard of Isopure. Is this good? Any other suggestions? Your help is greatly appreciated. My surgery is about 2 weeks away (Dec. 13th) and I am trying to get everything I will need. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! --Liz
Hi Elizabeth-
I'm having lapband surgery in 2 days so I've been trying different products as well. The one I like best so far is Unjury unflavored which can be found at www.unjury.com. I haven't seen it in any stores but when you order it comes in about a week and you can order samples to try. Also, www.vitalady.com has many samples you can purchase and try. I've tried the Nectar roadside lemonade and it's pretty good. Also, my doctor has his patients take Novartis Impact Recover twice a day for 7 days right before surgery and I must say the citrus flavor is excellent. And I not one to do well with things that smell or have an aftertaste. I tried the raspberry of Impact recover and thought it tasted like chalk(but I also don't like raspberry in general). Hope that helps. I haven't found anything I could buy local that I like. Beneprotein I tried as well from TAD Enterprises online and it has an aftertaste. Good luck with surgery. Debi
