Surgery Postponed

My surgery has been postponed. According to IDPA, I don't have the right psychological clearance. The person I saw apparently didn't have the letters behind her name. I also have to have a nuclear stress test done because of my families history of heart disease. My EKG came out fine. But they want to check it anyway.

Hang in there, it will happen. I was lucky, i have a family history so my PD already does all that on a regular basis or they would have done it. You'll be fine. Giovanna

oh man, that sucks big time. {{{{ hugs }}}}} so who exactly do we have to see, what letters are to be behind their name? That way when I have to go, it doesnt happen to me. Best of luck to you and I hope you get your surgery scheduled back again soon!! !

Michelle, I know it's easy for me to say this, but everything happens for a reason. Dont second guess it....just accept it and start planning for the next date they give you. I truly believe TBG (the Big Guy) has a plan for each of us...and even if you cant see it when youre in the middle of it...he knows what he's doing Yeah, it completely sucks the big one that you're postponed. But it's just that...postponement...not cancellation..remember that!!! Your time will come, chicky!!! Keep that chin up!!! and keep us posted!

Huge bummer! Is a nuclear stress test the same as a chemical one? If so, you are definitely going to want someone with you, because it knocks you on your behind! I hope you can get a new psych eval, and get everything resolved promptly. Good luck, Jennifer
