Any Illinois banders on this board?

I'm waiting for a surgery date for lap band from Alexian Bros and live in northern suburbs. Any similar situations out there? Michelle

Hi Michelle I live near St louis and am 10 days pre-op. There is a lap band board and they are very helpful in answering all your questions. Just go to gallery member forum, then lap band. Tina

Thanks Tina! You must be so excited to be so close to your surgery date. I'm waiting for my date but have to use a CPAP for 1 week before Pulmonologist will sign off for me.....Hopefully i won't be too far behind you! Michelle

Hi Michelle, I'm here. I live close to Peoria,IL. and had my band put on 6-18-04. I have lost 72 pounds so far. My surgeon was Dr Tom Rossi at Peoria Surgical. Julie

Hi Julie Looks like Dr. Rossi will be my surgeon also. Right now I am leaning toward RnY instead of the banding. I also have OSF insurance. Is the process with them somewhat "speed" compared to others? Have a good day!! Kristi and way to go on the weight loss!!!
