Let's all go to the movies!
In the interest of getting everybody to focus on stuff that isn't painful and difficult, I have an idea. Let's all recommend a movie to each other.
It should be in the theaters currently. If there is a website, we should provide it (without the "http://" and "www." parts) and if you've seen it, tell us why you think we should see it, too!
I'll go first *duh*:
Napoleon Dynamite

I saw this movie over the weekend and I laughed all the way through it. On the surface, you'll just think it's dumb.. but it's more than that.. the characters are so developed -- you can't imagine the movie without any one of them (including Tina!). If you get a little below the surface, you'll see that it's about just being who you are, and doing what you do -- who cares what the rest of the world thinks?
Seriously, any guy will tell you that a good movie is quote-worthy.. well I'll tell you monkey and I were quoting the lines on the way OUT of the theater! that's how funny it was! Not to mention I sat there thinking, "GEEZ! did they follow me around in high school and take notes on my hair and wardrobe JUST FOR THIS?"
If you've ever had a bout of self-consciousness that kept you from doing something you really wanted to do, go see this movie.
If you were one of the people who was on the internet back when we still called it the "world wide web" and AOL chatrooms were "where it's at," go see this movie.
If you ever owned a pair of moonboots, go see this movie.
If you had A/V club or FFA kids at your school who were total geeks, go see this movie.
You won't regret it. You can find out where it's playing and order tickets online at that website.
It's worth the effort, I promise.
