Mild Aortic Insufficiency?

Hi! I had a 2D echo done and they found I have a mild Aortic insufficiency so now need to see the cardiologist for a more complete appointment. I do have a heart murmur that has never been an issue my entire life so unsure if the results are related. Has anyone else had this and what happened? Thanks! Have a great weekend! I was diagnosed with this 7 years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest child. Take antibiotics any time you have any procedure where bacteria can enter your bloodstream and you should be fine. Donna

It seems that it is the same thing I have been told about my heart murmur...antibiotics...so this is good to know. It made me a nervous wreck the other day1 Thanks for the feedback! Peggy
