I packed up my son and we were there, waiting in line for half an hour but we were there by 6:40 this morning. I agree, get out there and vote or NEVER complain about anything that happens with our country!!! clapclap

Thanks for the great reminder yesterday, Stefanie. We Americans tend to take so much for granted, and it was gratifying to see that on election day 2004, so many remembered that freedom isn't just fireworks and apple pie on Independence Day, but it is collectively raising our voices and punching our ballots and invoking the opportunity to be heard. It seems as though the country definitely took this election to heart! Even Germany and Russia are impressed by the turn out yesterday, which is a tremendous boost to our credibility abroad. YOU made a difference! It'll be interesting to see what the final outcome is, and if there will be lawsuits and challenges, but for the most part, I feel so proud of my friends and neighbors for exercising their right to impact the direction of the greatest country in the WORLD!
