TGIF!!!!!

Good Friday Morning Everyone! I hope that you all have had a wonderful week! Mine has been interesting to say the least, but am very thankful that it is Friday! Does anyone have anything fun planned for the weekend? What are y'all doing to relax? I'm going to do some stuff for school and all of those lovely household chores and of course fix me up a cup of hot cocoa and watch the CARDS! Hope you all have a wunnerful Friday! Hugz, Cathy

Amen to TGIF!!!! This weekend we're going to the Zoo for the annual Boo at the Zoo fest. Going to get all dressed up in our halloween costumes and everything. My duaghter is going to be a "pretty witch" my son is the Red Bionicle. And my husband and I are going as tea bags. I'm calling us "Tea for Two". Can you tell he didn't have much choice in the decision. LOL Sunday is laundry day (woo hoo) and of course gotta clean the house and get ready to do it all over again on Monday.

Woo Hoo! Sounds like you've got some awesome plans for the weekend! I LOVE the Tea for Two idea, you should take pictures and show 'em off to all of us here! Hey! My week was pretty good. seemed kind of long because of this rainy and dreary weather but was otherwise alright. Hubby came home last night and is off until Monday night, I dont know whether to be glad to see him or not..lol We're not doing alot this weekend,Jeremy has to go to the property we're buying and clean up the yard from the storms we had Monday. It uprooted some of our trees and whatnot. We were in the line of the tornado that touched down at the Lake of Egypt. I was just thankful that we dont have a house over there yet. Tomorrow is my 10yr class reunion, I told the girl I'd go, but now I"m not too sure about it. We'll have to see. The rest of the weekend we're just going to take it easy at home and enjoy quality time together.. housework, etc...lol

Hey Lora! It was a nasty week, wasn't it? I hate dreary weather, it seems to take a lot out of me . I think you should go to that 10 year reunion and have a blast! If not for any other reason than to see who turned out to be "not worthy"! I didn't know you guys were getting a new house! Congratulations! I'm glad you weren't there yet too! My week has been a good one.. full of some serious ups and downs but it all evens out in the end! I have TONS to do between the two days I have and most of it involves getting my HOUSE in order!! I don't want to deal with a messy house when I get out of surgery.. and I have some old clothes that I need to just toss out.. my company is having an employee sale and I need a shredder so I'll go get that on Saturday so I can shred some of the mail and odd paperwork I have laying around that I don't need. I'm gonna wear that little thing out!! Then Sunday at 10pm, I have to stop all food and liquids going in so I can be clean and clear on Monday morning when I go for my pre-surgical tests! that's it for me!! Stef

Hey Stef! What a great attitude! I did the same thing before my surgery, spent days here clearing stuff out and rearranging and organizing because I knew right after surgery I wasn't going to want to do anything like that! Woohoo - your surgery is approaching so fast! Or does it seem like time is dragging to you? I remember waiting and waiting and waiting some more! Good luck to you! Hugz, Cathy

Ok...so this weekend is going to be different...it's all about... BOWLING!!! I coach my kids (and the rest of the youth league) on Saturday mornings, and then this weekend is a tournament Saturday afternoon. Sunday is Travel league in looooovely Sycamore, at the crack o'dawn! My son is on the team, and I coach that too, so lots of fun for me! Woo hoo! In between, I am working on remodeling my bathroom, doing my homework, doing yardwork, and finishing my (overdue) library books. Oh, yeah, and my best g/f and I are going to dinner and a movie on Saturday night. I'm going to try to watch the BoSox whoop it up on the Redbirds...as a Cubs fan, that's the only joy there can be in this World Series...
