Primary Care Doctor in JOLIET, ILLINOIS???

Hello! I had Lap RNY in April 2002. I just moved here from California & I am trying to find a good primary care physician in the Joliet or Bolingbrook IL area (I actually live in Minooka). Right now I am going to a doctor who is totally clueless. Does anyone know of any good doctors that they could recommend? I have United Healthcare insurance, but I think I will be switching to BCBS within the next few months. If anyone has anybody they could recommend I would totally appreciate it!!!! Hi! I actually had HealthNet when I was approved & had my surgery...HealthNet was awesome! I was approved very quickly & I think all I ended up paying was $10 for a copay. I'm not sure how United Healthcare would be for surgery...As far as other medical coverage they are so so...That's why I am probably going to switch to Blue Cross Blue Shield. I would also look into doctors at St. Joseph's in Joliet. I am having my surgery there and I am very happy with that hospital. I have been going to that hospital for years and have been very impressed with everyone/everything I have ever had done there. My son had to go via ambulance to the hospital once and we ended up at Silver Cross and I HATED it!!! I do not know anything about the rest of the hospital only the ER and it was horrible. I said next time I would drive myself no matter what was wrong instead of going to their ER. Sorry, just had to give my honest opinion of their ER. Nancy
