GOOD MORNING AMOS FAMILY, I AM KINDA OF IN A LITTLE FUNK. I HAD ALL OF MY PRE-OP TESTS DONE AND COMPLETE BACK IN JUNE. I HAVE BEEN WAITING SINCE JUNE TO SEE DR. TIESENGA. I UNDERSTAND THAT HE'S A REALLY BUSY PERSON. BUT MY APPOINTMENT WITH HIM HAS BEEN CANCELED TWICE. IT HAS GONE FROM OCTOBER 6TH TO OCTOBER 20TH AND FINALLY OCTOBER 27TH. I WANT TO GET THE BALL ROLLING ON MY INSURANCE APPROVAL AND ALSO GET A DATE ASAP. I GUESS THOUGH THE ONLY GOOD THING IS THAT I NEED 6-12 MONTHS OF SUPERVISED DIET. BY NOVEMBER I WOULD HAVE HAD 6 RD VISITS. I GUESS IT WILL ALL COME TOGETHER. I HOPE SO FOR MY SAKE . THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS.

It sounds like you've been pretty patient, so far. I'm sure things will come together for you. Just keep on the surgeon's office. I know some here have bugged the surgeons for cancellation times, so that when a patient cancels they squeeze into the spot. Hang in there! Before you know it, it will have all come together, and your life will change radically...and you'll laugh at how impatient you were. Good luck! Jennifer

Lamonica I had my consult with him on Oct. 13th and he's great and worth the "weight" LOL and if your insurance company is requiring the 6-12 months of diet its better to get it over with when you see the surgeon, its pretty much wasting his time if you go in and the insurance co rejects you cause you dont meet their criteria. Anyway you'll love Dr. T if you havent met him already, if you have I'm sure you love him!!! Good Luck Debby
