Consultation in 5 Days

I'm getting more and more excited every day.. I can't stand it I think I'm going to burst. I want to sleep and wake up with it being Wednesday. I'm trying to make a list of questions to bring with me. Overall I'm not nervous or scared about surgery, at this point I'm only scared of the insurance. I haven't been this excited in a long time and if they deny me I'm going to be so crushed. I am probably working myself up over nothing though (I am my mothers daughter). I've not read any profiles where someone did not get approved by my company (BC/BS Alliance Select Wellmark of Iowa).... grrr I can't take the waiting! Any tips on how to make it go by faster? Sorry if seem incredibly whiney! You guys really are great for motivation!

Brooke, You're not being whiney.. every single one of us has been there or is there.. you're among friends here. The only thing I could do to make it go faster was journal. I have two blogs and my profile here that I treat as a sort of a blog.. it helped me a lot to just write it down. I also used the downtime to call my insurance company and find out *exactly* what my prerequisites were and get a real clear understanding FROM THEM what they needed/expected from me in order to approve my surgery. Other than that.. it's been a real exercise in patience for me.. (something you'll learn about me -- I HAVE NONE). You'll get there, hon.. don't worry... Stef

Yeah, I've been journaling too, but I'm afraid people are getting sick of hearing about it. No one else understands what it's like to be fat forever and then to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. We can be in the no patience club together!
