I wasn't going to shop until after surgery.. but I went to get my nails done last night and I want to know something: WHY WAS I NEVER TOLD ABOUT TORRID?? holy schmokes!! some of the stuff in there is really over the top.. at least for someone my age.. but some of that stuff is SO COOL!! and SHOES?! HELLO?!! all those cute 40's heels with rounded toes.. oh.my.god. I don't plan to fit in their clothes for long.. but dangit.. that stuff is CUTE! I bought shoes (I was naughty) but they are so CUTE and they'll be great for performances.. nights out.. sexy with long cuffed pants.. my feet won't shrink all THAT much.. http://www.torrid.com holy schmokes!! I love that store...but just wait, you'll be shopping at Hot Topic in no time. Oh, I've heard people going down up to 3 shoe sizes after surgery, so put that fantastic plastic away!

I LOVE TORRID! It is my FAVORITE store to shop. I have been buying clearance merchandise in smaller sizes for several months now. I'm addicted.... maybe I should work there on weekends so I can get a discount...hmmm ~Jenn -64

I can see how an addiction could develop.. and I love how the one in Woodfield is directly across the mall from Lane Bryant.. LB is getting to be kind of middle-aged, huh? (LB was my first retail job at 16.. I can say that)

My first retail job was at LB too - I would've loved for a Torrid to exist back in the 90s. Now I'm a fan of Hot Topic..and, sadly, the Gap. I only say sadly because it is SO gosh darned expensive.
