Sorry to hear about the "troubles" as of late ... it is a very emotional time ... not to discourage you, but you will also be very emotional (or at least most people are) after your surgery as well ... but you seem quite prepared for that ... I actually got a call late yesterday afternoon from Bessie at Dr. Kane's office. She said she was so excited when she got my paperwork she wanted to call and let me know that she put it on Olga's to do pile.. right on top with a note to prioritize.. I was so touched!! I also got a call from Karen at my insurance company.. same thing.. she's been watching my file and she's so excited for me.. she asked me to keep in touch with her, even though my company is changing insurance carriers as of January 1. I really feel blessed. Lots of people are coming out of the woodwork!! My concert is on Sunday at.. 2pm I think.. I'll double check when I get to work and post about it. It's at St. John's Community Church (formerly Norwegian Lutheran or some such thing) on North Ave in Chicago.. I've got the address and phone number all at my desk at work. I'd love it if some of my OH buddies came! There's no admission fee.. just a basket for a free-will offering to benefit the faith community who're donating the space for us to use.

Hello again, Stef ...n I wanted to comment on your desire to write "letters" for people. I, too, thought that I would do that. And even started a few. But then ... for whatever reason ... I could not complete them. All I did was get the legal papers drawn up ... We all, though, must do whatever our hearts call for. Just want to wish you luck in whatever you choose to do ... (and please understand I'm not making a recommendation one way or the other ... just sharing what I went through) Nancy
