Hi, I'm Brooke. I was going to wait until I had more information about my surgery to post but I can't contain myself because I'm too excited. I've been wanting this surgery for a long time. I've done so much research on it. I finally have my consultation on the 20th with Barix clinic. Has anyone here used them? They sound great. Anyways any help or advice you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks Brooke

Welcome Brooke!! I had a consultation last month at the Barix Clinic. I met with Dr. Boe and LOVED him. He was a very nice man. Took his time, explained everything. I was very impressed. I am having some insurance delays but will probably be using him as a surgeon myself. It is nice that your father had the surgery and you will be a "losing" team together!!! Welcome to the board

Thanks so much! I have read a lot on Dr Boe I'm kind of hoping he is the one that I get. They are supposed to be sending me a consultation packet...so I guess I will know soon enough.

Hi Brooke~ Just wanted to say welcome to the IL boards!! Best of luck to you! I had a consult at Barix but ended up going elsewhere due to insurance reasons. Dr. Vaughn was so sweet. Be sure to let us all know how it goes! Hugz, Cathy
