When faced with an adoring public who can't say enough how wonderful you are, have a speech ready. Make sure it includes a genuine smile and "thank you" and keep it brief. Also be sure your response comments are the kind that don't necessarily extend the conversation. Mostly, they don't want to talk to you, they just want to adore you! Let them! --the diva herself

THanks for posting this, I have had this problem for years and never knew what I should to about it. I can't go anywhere without the adoration of others and sometimes its a burden
