RE: Getting BLASTED

I will NEVER post on the main board or use it again! I am not a cruel person I do not BLAST anyone. I had my post taken off AND someone blast me for asking them not to condemn saying that home day cares are Bad and that day care centers are better. Which is not always the case! I may just leave this site all together I have NEVER set out to offend anyone and I am quite put out that I was treated this way!!!!!! Blessings, Katie

Please dont leave the site because of the jackasses on the main board. That is alot of the reason I WILL NOT post on the main message board. There's alot of ugly people on that board and I'm not too sure I would hold my tounge and would be banned from here forever. Either that or I would be so hurt, I would be reacting the same way as you. I do read the main board, because I've learned alot from there, but I try not to post there. ( i have a few times) Stay here and keep with us, we luv ya over here in Illinois!!!!! (((( hugs to ya ))))

Thanks guys for making me feel like a part of the group and cared for!!!! I guess the part that upset me the most is that whenever I write anything wether I disagree with someone or whatever I'm writing about, I am so careful to do it gently and NOT in an offending way. IT is so frustrating of being accused of blasting someone when I did not,,,,,in actuality here that person is blasting ME! *sigh* well I know where I'm NOT wanted LOL I will definitely steer clear of that main board!!!!!! The Illinois board is WAAAAY better! I've only been lurking/posting for 2-3 weeks, and from what I've seen most of the posts on the main board that are RELEVANT are ignored, or the person is told to go to the local board. To me, that says the state boards are better, and in my BRIEF experience this board has been great. Some points on being happy here: Read Lora O.'s funnies -- in a private place, where people won't look at you funny when you laugh out loud Read Lori Russell's sex posts where no one can look over your shoulder...unless you are not ever embarrassed Read Stef's posts so that you can learn to be a diva... Don't read any of mine unless you don't mind losing at least 25 minutes of your life -- I don't think any of my posts are under 1,000 words... Just enjoy spending some time with the wonderful supportive people who are real humans, and who post here with unusual intuitive wisdom and incredible compassion and a genuine sense of humor and comraderie. Here you will be among friends.

Katie I have to tell you I agree!!! some of those on the main are just down right nasty BEEEYACHES!!!!!!!!! It amazes me how some or so high and mighty I think they forget we are all in the same boat whether your pre op or post op we should be supportive of each other.... I wont post on the main either for the same reason... ILLINOISIANS ROCK!!! we are NUMBER ONE!!! Hang in there this is home not those main people LOL
