Self pay at Barix Clinics or any other locations

Has anyone been a self pay at any illinois barix or bariatric centers in illinois. It turns out that i will be a self pay. I had an appointment to go to Mexico on Sep 22 04 but some family issues came aout and I promised my father that I would stay in the states as long as I can afford it. Thank You all for your time. There was a lady who i emailed she went to brazil it cost her 10,500 that was airfare hotel surgey food and everything. i think it is like 20,000 here good luck with finding a doctor!!!

c-are you looking into the band or ryn? i just talked with someone at the wish center today, and i was quoted an amazing $11g for the band--that is nearly as inexpensive as mexico! and i feel better about being banded here--the docs in mexico have amazing experience, but i am more comfortable having my doc nearby-also alot of us docs wont take mexican patients. anyway, i hope this helps, i am researching self pay all over the us, and this is by far the best experience + affordability i can find. good luck!! jessica

WOW that is a great price for banding!!! I am looking at RNY for myself. Maybe I should do a little more research on Banding! The lowest quote i got for RNY lap is about $22.000 I feel that is not bad! I heard alot of good things about the BARIX center to. So i will contact them. Thank you for all your support!!
