I GOT MY DATE

I am sorry I have been absent for a while. I usually post during lunch at work, but I have been as busy as I can get. I want to thank everyone *****sponsed to my earlier posts and I am very greatful for all the encouragement I can get. The Date is tentatively October 26. I have my upper GI on the 11th and meet with the doctor on the 14th. If everything gets the green light - that will be my big day. Hopefully the last "BIG" day I will have. I only want smaller days from now on. I must admit, this upper GI thing really has me going. I can't even take Maalox without throwing up...how will I do with the Barium? I will let you know what happens. It may be sporatic (we have two major shows coming up that we participate in and I am running like crazy to keep up), but I will do my best. Everyone keep on doing wonderfully!!! All my best! Mary

yay for you! i hope all goes well. the barium is a little more tolerable than it used to be (which i know is not saying much!) best wishes for smooth sailing from here on out til oct 26th! tracy

Congratulations Mary! You can do this. Just remeber...it's for a greater good. When you are drinking it, try to sing your favorite song in your head. Sing it over and over and see how many times it takes you to sing it until everything is over. Melissa Lap RNY 8/31/04
