Well this morning I have relized when i vowed to get back on track i havent done so!! In 2 months i have gained a total of 21 pounds yes your reading that right!! I am really struggling!! So now I am going to the dietican and she is going to write out a meal and snack plan for me to go by!! She also told me that the weight gain of 10 pounds this week could be from me riding bikes for the last week and having my female thing this week!! But i must admit i am very sad and i feel like i am going into a state of depression!! This cant be happening to me i really truley havent been eating bad things.. I guess it's just been a thing of all day snacking!! For now i am going to make up a meal plan with high protein snacks and stick to this tell i can see the dietican!! I'm not here to complain i am here cause i really need lots and lots of prayers and support!! I am by all means not prefect!! Please dont flame me i am already hard enought on myself: Just send me lots of prayers

Dear Marsha, No one with any intelligence or sensitivity would blame you. I am very proud of you. You have shared your experience to help others and you didn't have too. I know for me the more I blame or am ashamed of myself the easier it is to turn to food so that is not the way. You have and are fighting the good fight. I was thinking about what the dieititian said that the ten pound weight gain could be because of riding your bike and onset of menses that is a very reasonable theory maybe I am grabbing at the wind but how much has your BMI changed have you ever had it really measured not estimated but measured I bet that because you can move more your muscle mass has increased therfore your weight is up some if is from food also if you had been consume too few calories then being to eat a regular diet your body dosn't know what to do with the extra calories at first . Please try to relax and not be overwhelmed which I know is very difficult. I am also praying for all of us to be happy and have peace of mind. It's that really why we have the surgery not to wear a certain size dress but to feel good about ourselves. I had my surgery on August 9th and I can't tell you how much your posting have helped me God bless you Cheryl

Marsha, I agree with Cheryl. Because you are more active, you are probably gaining muscle instead of fat. Try not to put too much emphasis on the scale. I know this is hard because I think we all tend to live by the scale. Don't be too hard on yourself. You definitely have my prayers and support. Liz

Marsha, I always enjoy your posts. Yes, I'm one *****ads and writes little ... I think y'all call me a "lurker." Anyway ... you are doing the best thing you can by taking this first step and by asking for support ... I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers ... Nancy
