G-Tube and Staples

I get my G-tube and staples out tomorrow...question.... is the g-tube just as long as the JP tube. This thing stinks. The staples are turning pink on each side. I'm getting irritated. The g-tube hangs down and is pulling on my skin. I tried taping it but it didn't work. I can't sleep. I'm miserable Thanks for letting me vent! Laura 259/???/135

Aw, they didnt give you a safety pin to pin it to your shirt in the hospital? I couldnt stand it, pulling and tugging and pinching. For me, it was longer than the one I had for my Gallbladder (I dont know the names of them) It didnt hurt, it felt funny then when it was out I felt a little weird because she said it was resting on something. I felt almost good as new untill a few days later I sneezed. Im still sore on the one side the tube came out of, I hope I didnt give myself a hernia. It feels sore and a little numb on my skin too which is weird.

A couple weeks from now you'll be asking what tube??? THis to shall pass!!! hang in there! You could probably put some Neosporin on the staples Debby
