A Big Thank you to everyone

I just wanted to say thanks, My friend in IL is a lurker on this board she has been trying to decide if surgery was right for her. I have talked about my success over and over, surgery 8 years ago in Michigan I have lost over 200 lbs. But my friend thought I was the exception not the rule, you helped her to see that this can and does work. If she wasn't worried about the weight coming off she worried about the expense. Didn't matter that I told her how much less I pay for a lot of things now including clothes (no more size 26 at the big girl store where t-shirts cost $50) and food. Yesterday she went for a consultation at Barix Clinics (wish I could have been there) but the good news is she called me last night crying about having hope for the first time in many years. She was so impressed with the surgeon and the office staff and the best news Barix is a BCBS provider. So maybe no out of pocket cost or at the very least much lower cost. They have also performed over 23,000 surgeries (which made her feel safe) they do both the open and lap. She also said that they had a counselor talk to her after seeing the surgeon. The counselor has also had the surgery, and this person let her know that Barix's also offers a complete plastic surgery service. Thank you again IL board for your help.. and to (oh you know who) I can't wait to see you on the losing side.
