Sunday in the Park with George - Springfield!

Act One follows the inarticulate Seurat as he fights a losing battle to maintain a relationship with his mistress Dot as he creates his painting "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte" amid the scorn of the artistic community. The second act takes place 100 years later, introducing us to his American descendant, also an artist, burned out and uncertain of the path he must take.

Sounds grand, Katie! I was going to ask if you were in it but then I realized you're having surgery in 8 days! I've never been out there but I'd love to see this production and I noticed that they're going to be doing "Death of a Salesman" as well. Actually Cathy, my Dad's in it!!!! AND, I was supposed to play the flute for background music in Death of a Salesman... however, I bowed out, because I don't know how I'll be in 8 weeks after the surgery - and if I can get enough practice time in between now and then!
