I called my insurance again today to see if my paperwork had arrived -- and was told no again. ARRGGHH!!
But there is good news.. first of all, I LOVE my insurance company. They are so nice and so helpful and they go a step further than you expect them to.. The lady asked me if my pre-auth was medical or dental and I said Medical.. she said.. for what? I said Surgery.. and she was so kind.. "well.. do you know what specific surgery?" I said, "gastric" -- sort of wincing.. waiting for the tone in her voice to change.. and it did change but not negatively as I expected.. she IMMEDIATELY was even more gentle in her tone.. not condescending or anything.. so anyway.. after she told me my paperwork wasn't there, she gave me a little nugget of gold known as a FAX MACHINE NUMBER.
I said, "you mean they can fax my paperwork over and that's acceptable?" She said, "sure! Have them fax it today!"

So they faxed my paperwork this morning! Keep your fingers crossed for me, folks!!

working working working.. so much working. I have a big file due today.. two big ones due tomorrow.. and a big bear of a file (with lots of special request stuff) due on Monday.. yay.
