Ok, I'm a clutz...

I was walking in my back door tonight and I stepped on the pant leg of my way too big pants tonight (I literally have to pull them up to my chest, tie the drawstring way tight and then rollllllll them down to my waist) and I fell ... I hit my shins on the top step. I now have bruises & scrapes on both shins! What a clumsy person! Oh well, just had to share my funny. At least noone saw ... that I know of ...

Yay! A funny! lol. I hope you're ok though? I had a similar accident last week, I was walking, bopping along with my walkman (which I clip to my waistband). I walked right through one of those gnat clouds (can you say yuck?) and started running full speed to get away from the naughty little buggers. Well, the walkman unhooked from my pants (due, in part, to my soft underbelly bouncing oh so vigorously while I ran) dropped on the ground, which I promptly crunched underfoot for lack of being able to stop my own momentum. I then bent down to pick the walkman up, the earbuds fell out (I didn't realize it) hooked the walkman back to my waist, and proceeded to trip over the cord extending from my walkman on my waist to the fallen earbuds on the sidewalk. To add insult to injury, I hear this noise behind me, only to see my husband hanging out the car window laughing. He was on his way home from work, and spotted me right away...he saw the whole thing! Argh! He's STILL talking about how much money he could have made if he could have caught the whole thing on tape. Goof.

LOL, I'm fine thanks. I had to laugh when I read your funny (sorry!). I'd have killed him! I was going to go to bed but darnit if I didn't start updating the pix on my webpage lol.

Falling UP the stairs is always worse than falling DOWN the stairs! I slipped on ice coming out of my garage last winter..I, being the 'strong person' that I pretend to be...jump up right away telling my hubby and kids that I am Ok..even though it hurt like hell! My daughter again asks if I'm okay...I assure her that I am FINE and to 'just GO'! She goes "then why are your crying???" I didn't even know that I WAS crying. My husband ended up taking me to the ER after I told him that my ovaries were gonna fall out!! I had a bruise from behing my elbows to behind my knees!! Ouch!!!
