Holiday Magic Festival
Friday, Saturday, November 26, 27
Saturday and Sunday December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19
December 26 - January 2
Celebrate the holiday season at Brookfield Zoo's 23rd annual Holiday Magic. From 4 to 9 p.m. each night, stroll along walkways illuminated by nearly one million twinkling white and colored lights to see some of your favorite animals. Many indoor exhibits are also open for nighttime viewing. Other festive happenings include professional ice carving demonstrations, magicians, musical performances, storytellers, choral groups, Sing to the Animals, photo opportunities with animals from Children's Zoo, and craft activities. Santa will be available to hear everyone's wish list and costumed characters will greet you at the north and south gates! Restaurants and gift shops will be open.
So I'll have to call and find out what to do with a big group.
My vote is for the Brunch or the Festival.
The brunch because it will be easier to feed everyone. We can all sit down. *I think that is the place with the "U" table* A buffet means there is PLENTY for anyone in whatever stage of pre/post-opedness.
The Festival because of the lights and all the 5,000 things going on for families. So we don't have to worry about the kids being occupied.
So what would YOU like to see us do and WHY?
If you don't tell me why....I can't take into consideration your actual want to come.
My vote is for the festival - I have three kids and they would really like to see the lights and visit santa. Only downfall is that we might not all get to see eachother and talk since there is nothing planned for a sit-down. Unless we eat afterwards. Anything works - just to see everyone would be cool - I should be about 4-8 weeks post-op by then, depending on the surgery date I get tomorrow. Let me know what you decide.
