OK, The zoo has quite a bit going on. So I need to know what you prefer... Friday/Saturday/Sunday? Morning/Afternoon/Evening? Buffet/Sitdown/Potluck? Here is why: Breakfast with Santa December 4-5, 11-12, 18-19 (Saturdays-Sundays) Bring the family to Brookfield Zoo for an all-you-can-eat child-friendly breakfast buffet. Seatings are offered at 9 a.m. or 11 a.m. Costumed characters will be on hand to greet everyone and Santa will also make an appearance. Don't forget to bring your camera for a family photo. The cost, whi*****ludes admission to the zoo is $29 for adults ($21 for zoo members) and $19.50 for children 3-11 ($15.50 for zoo members). Children 2 and under eat for free. Seating is limited. Holiday Brunch December 5, 12 19 (Sunday) Enjoy a relaxing holiday brunch at Brookfield Zoo's Bocaditos restaurant. The all-you-can-eat buffet features carved meats, cooked-to-order omelets, assorted seafood, and bountiful sweets. Seatings are offered at 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Costumed characters will delight the youngsters and Santa will make an appearance with a bag of mementos. Seating is limited. Holiday Magic Festival Friday, Saturday, November 26, 27 Saturday and Sunday December 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19 December 26 - January 2 Celebrate the holiday season at Brookfield Zoo's 23rd annual Holiday Magic. From 4 to 9 p.m. each night, stroll along walkways illuminated by nearly one million twinkling white and colored lights to see some of your favorite animals. Many indoor exhibits are also open for nighttime viewing. Other festive happenings include professional ice carving demonstrations, magicians, musical performances, storytellers, choral groups, Sing to the Animals, photo opportunities with animals from Children's Zoo, and craft activities. Santa will be available to hear everyone's wish list and costumed characters will greet you at the north and south gates! Restaurants and gift shops will be open. So I'll have to call and find out what to do with a big group. My vote is for the Brunch or the Festival. The brunch because it will be easier to feed everyone. We can all sit down. *I think that is the place with the "U" table* A buffet means there is PLENTY for anyone in whatever stage of pre/post-opedness. The Festival because of the lights and all the 5,000 things going on for families. So we don't have to worry about the kids being occupied. So what would YOU like to see us do and WHY? If you don't tell me why....I can't take into consideration your actual want to come.

The Festival sounds WONDERFUL! My kids would absolutely LOVE that. Saturday/Sunday is best for me - since I'll have a 4 hour drive up there. The 11th (Sat) is out because it's my son's 5th B-day party. Other than that - I'm open!

My vote is for the festival - I have three kids and they would really like to see the lights and visit santa. Only downfall is that we might not all get to see eachother and talk since there is nothing planned for a sit-down. Unless we eat afterwards. Anything works - just to see everyone would be cool - I should be about 4-8 weeks post-op by then, depending on the surgery date I get tomorrow. Let me know what you decide.

My vote is for the brunch...without our kids! Sorry if some people take offense. I love my kids dearly, but if I want to do something with my family I will plan that seperately. I would rather spend time with my OH family without distractions. Let it be about us! Just my thoughts, Joy

HEY I would go to this!! BUT if I was to go would have to be brunch because I am over 2 hours away, and makes for a long drive very late at night. As for the kids, I am gonna have a hard enough time finding care for them while having surgery, wouldn't be easy to add to it. Blessings, katie

The Brunch or Festival sound fantastic. Thanks for doing the research I'd really like to be there. The weekend of Dec. 11 and 12 are out for me, I've got finals in Nashville then, and I'd really like to be there
