maybe it's just me.. maybe I'm PMSing but I'm SO TICKED OFF RIGHT NOW! I called my insurance this morning -- I originally talked to the Dr.'s office insurance gal the day after my consult with Dr. Kane. She informed me she was glad I'd called since they were having trouble getting my records from my GP.. I called that day (the 19th) and got the information faxed over to her THAT NIGHT.. she had it the next morning. I called again on the 24th to make sure everything went okay.. she said it was great.. no problem.. the paperwork was going out (I mistakenly assumed THAT DAY). She told me I could call THIS week to find out what status was.. so this morning -- being the anxious annie I am -- I called Regence to find out the status on my pre-auth request. They were SUPER nice and so helpful.. the lady even WALKED OVER to the preauth department when there was nothing in the system and she came back to tell me there was nothing. A few inquiries (phone) but no paperwork. This is where the little cartoon cloud of anger appears over my head. I called the insurance dept at Dr. Kane's office.. and they told me my letter didn't go out til the 26th!!! Now, okay.. I understand about delays and all that.. but DANGIT don't tell me one thing and then WAIT for me to call back a week later to find out it's something else! MAJOR pet peeve!! and BOY AM I PEEVED!! now she says I have to wait ANOTHER week for status!! I'll be the first to admit I have no patience whatsoever.. but UNDER PROMISE AND OVER DELIVER PEOPLE!! Basic building block of happy customer. Estimate high, come in low. This isn't rocket science!! BTW, Melissa.. the blue shirt is AWESOME.. I'm wearing it today! Thanks for listening guys.. I'm just annoyed by a lot of things today and this was the stone in the bucket that put the water over the rim.

They sat on my paperwork for 2 weeks before sending it in. Luckily my insurance was very fast, 5 days later I was approved. I've heard the whole process would take about 2 months from start (paperwork) to finish (actual surgery). I started in June, but wanted to wait til now because I already had plans for the summer that I didnt want to miss in case there was a problem. I was the same way, impatient like you would(nt) believe! Good luck!!

SEEEEEEE!!!!!! That is why you have to keep on TOP of things. I'm so sorry they are retarded. But another week isn't a big deal. You'll still need surgery 7 days later so tell them they can bite ya! Here's hoping they HURRY THE F*** UP! LOL I'm so glad you like the shirt. Be good to it. It is my FAVE!!! Smooches Melissa
