Where is everyone at these days
Good Evening Ladies.........
I've been running around doing my last minute chores before surgery next week. My son is in gymnastics, my daughters take piano and swimming lessons so I do alot of driving. School is next week too! YEAH!!!!!! I have to get everything in order.... like running around, cleaning, grocery shopping. The fun stuff!!!!!

I'm here. Been pretty busy with the kids in school. I've gotten alot of housework done that I"m not able to do while the 2 oldest boys are home. I've been lurking, but there's not a whole lot to respond to. Has anyone heard how Dixie is doing?? I miss seeing her and Chandra on here. I saw Chan the other day here so I know she's still around.
Talk to ya'll later!! !

Hi Marsha and everyone
I'm in school from M-Th...taking my CNA and Anatomy and Physiology I. My transcripts just got evaluated yesterday and the counsellor said I will get into the RN program with no problems. You need @9 pts...(or you did last year..this year where the cutoff will be depends on how many people have higher points..confusing) and I will have 14 at the time of application...and 16 when the program actually starts. Looks like I'm sitting pretty, but its been my experience that for me, a red flag usually pops up somewhere and keeps me from doing what I want to do. They said no, yesterday..that all my ducks are in a row. We'll see;)
My kids started school last week as well...the girls started gymnastics yesterday (remember we're out in the stix..so driving to school for me is @40 minutes each way, and gymnastics for the girls is about 35 each way) My son is doing guitar lessons, and starts basketball next month again. On top of all this, we're putting down a new floor intthe kitchen/dining room, and my friends and I are having a garage sale next weekend...argh....one of them dropped off 8 garbage bags of girls clothes yesterday...and said get what you can for them...and its yours...lol...course I went through the bags first...her daughter is a size ahead of my oldest;)
Anyhoo...school is nuts...a and p is very hard, and since I havent had any biology or chemistry since 1987, its going to take a lot of extra reading for me to stay caught up. Im determined though, and know that I will make a good nurse if this class doesnt kill me. I start my CNA at the Manteno Vets Home at the end of this month and I'm very excited about that. I love people (hope that doesnt change;) and think I'll like the VA, even with all the gross stuff we have to do I just have to keep in mind 2 things...a)the quality of care I'd expect someone to give my parents if they were in the same situation and b) I'm no different or better than the people in the beds/chairs, my health just happens to be better at this moment in time
Remind me of this in about 6 weeks ok????
Love you all..and thanks Cateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for the cheer-up phone call last night!! I miss ya!!!!
Hope everyone is doing well!!!
Love,
Kath/Dixie
