Excuse & Time off work!

I don't want my employer to know what's going on with me, because NOTHING is confidential at my work. What excuse can I ask the Dr. to use for time off?

I just told them due to medical necessity I was having surgery. And I would be out from 8/26/04 returning on 11/1/04.Get your surgeon to write a letter stating that. Due to HIPAA they "can not" ask you why. The can be fined big bucks if they do. Good luck to you. Take care, Kathy 3 days to go
