Memory Testing Complete
Well I finally had my memory testing at SIU CLinics Monday...ANd still have no more answers than I did before...They have no clue as to what is the problem. I passed the baseline tests and the psych person said that he would put in his report that I could request more in depth testing if my PCP agreed and my insurance company would pay for it.
They did blood work. The neurologists said that it could be a B12 defiency (sp?) It could be my Thyroid or it could be from my idiopathic peripheal neuropathy. I am going to push for more tests. I went through this with my neuropathy no one would listen to my complaints
and I followed through on my own and after two years of excruciating pain was diagnosed with PN and than I finally knew I was not CRAZY
I am planning on doing the same thing with this memory problem. I am hoping that the blood tests come back with the B12 thing since that is fixable...I am also starting to keep a memory lapse paper with dates and etc if I can remember where I put the darn thing each day
