new to the area

Hello eveyone, I am new to the area, I moved here from NY where i had LAP RNY on April 13, 2004. things here are ok and im loving the area here in Carbondale, but i would love to attend a support meeting. Does anyone know where one can attend that is close..... thanks Conita 250/187/145??

Hey! Glad to hear that your liking the area. I'm in Marion, not too far from you. about 15 miles east. I think there's a support group in Murphysboro, at St. Joseph hosp. You'll have to call and talk to social services, I think they meet on like the 2nd Thursday of the month. I'm not quite sure though. If you need any other help, you can e-mail me. [email protected]

Hi Conita Welcome to IL! Carbondale is a beautiful area, I hope you enjoy all the great scenery, especially with the fall colors coming!
