Does anyone know if they have an exclusion? My mom is considering (kinda) the surgery and I was wondering what her chances are. She has co-morbs and all. Even breast cancer at 36....what are the chances?

I was told that cancer was NOT a co-morbidity..it was part of my family history!! Hello!?!!!?!? So is obesity! Jack Asses!! Good luck!! I'm trying to talk my mom into it too..

Well, that needs to be changed. When your cancer is hormonally dependent then weight IS an issue. Dumbf*cks LOL

I HAD UNICARE AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WOULD COVER THE SURGERY. IF I WAS OVER 100 LBS OVERWEIGHT. WHEN MY DOC SUMITTED THE INFOR TO THEM THEY DENIED ME SAYING THEY WOULD ONLY COVER IT IF I HAD STOMACH CANCER. I'M VERY LUCKY I WAS ABLE TO SWITCH TO A DIFFERNT INSURANCE THROUGH MY HUSBANDS WORK. I NOW HAVE HUMANA AND THEY'RE GOING TO COVER IT 100%. MY DATE IS 9/27/04!
