Hi,
I grew up in Aurora, which is right outside of Naperville. Naperville is all middle class. It is considered the most kid friendly city in the US. Personally, I don't like it. A lot of yuppies, and in my personal opinion, people less than racially friendly. Maybe things have changed, but when I was growing up, anyone who was not white knew not to drive through Naperville after a certain hour of night because the cops would definitely pull you over based on the color of your skin.
I am sorry if I sound negative, it is just my experience.

P.S. I am white, but my immediate family is black. If you would like to talk further you can email me.
Hi! I manage an apartment community in Naperville so can answer any questions you have. The schools are excellent, great park district, YMCA, shopping galore...Naperville is very diverse now. A mix of incomes... but middle to upper class is the norm. I do consider it to be more racially diverse over the past 10 years and have many conversations regarding this due to what I do. District 204 is probably the most diverse school district. Feel free to ask any questions!
Well I would like to thank you for responding to my posting. What kind of apartment do you manage? I was looking forward to a nice quite area, with a park near by, maybe even a body of water. I don't to much care about the neiborhood being diverse, but more of the privacy and respect for each person.
But I would like to know which school district is the best!!!!!!!!!
Information for k-8 needed only.
Again I thank you for taking time to read and respond to this posting......

lol, that's about it! ok. ok. so it's not that bad. I just think there's too many...well...snobs there. Tons of teens too, kinda nutty out there. But I guess it depends on which part you're going to be living in. The closer to the school and downtown naper....the crazier and more "ignorant" (for lack of a better word) the people seem to be. A friend of mine lived in apartments on naper blvd. just south of maple, and that area was filled with some pretty nice people. Just an idea
