Yay for Richard Bucchi!!

He couldnt be with us at D and B because he got called back on an audition for THE MAN OF LA MANCHA which is something he's always wanted to do. He emailed today...HE GOT THE PART he wanted!! I know I'm gonna go watch him ....hope lots of others will too!!! Yay, Richard!! The first of many dreams realized!!!

Many thanks to all who posted their congrats here. I've been acting (sometimes for love, sometimes for profit) for many years now, but "La Mancha" is a show that I never seemed able to audition for. When I saw that the D&B get-together conflicted with the auditions, I was upset, but there was no way I was going to miss the chance to finally do this show. The show will be the last 2 weekends of October at the Beverly Arts Center at 111th & Western in Chicago. I usually wait until a week or two before opening night before I start talking up a show. I THINK this should be a pretty good production, but as soon as I am sure, you can be certain that I will be posting further details about performance nights, etc. Either that, or I will get the info to my lovely angel/press agent Dixie Austin. Is she cool, or what? Thanks again to everyone.
