Just Told I Need Knee Surgery

I went to the doctor yesturday and was told that I have ruematoid arthritis and will need to have my knee replaced after surgery is done which will be in 59 days (can't wait) has anyone ever been given this type of news and what is recovery time for knee replacement and what is that pain like.

My grama has had both knees replaced and she said at first her knees were pretty sore, she was in the hospital like 4 or 5 days with both of them I believe. She had physical therapists come in and work with her a couple of days a week. total recovery time each if I remember correctly was a month or so. (its been like 8 yrs ago so I'm a little foggy) Best of luck to you!!!
