I met with Crystal today with all my final instructions. I had my blood drawn and went to West Sub to have my EKG.
Did you know 3 year olds can give EKGs? I had no idea. LOL
Monday will be my last day to really eat. It's wierd. I can't imagine not being able to eat. I'll be on liquids starting Tuesday after noon because my filter will be installed (LOL) on Tuesday. I won't know what time until Monday. Same for the Surgery Surgery. They will call the day before to let me know what time.
So unless I get my period (doubt it with these nerves here LOL) or some other strange thing occurs...we're set for the 31st!
I have to say, going through the booklet Crystal gave me...you bandsters have it MUCH worse than us bypassers. 6 weeks of liquids? WOW.

I have NO IDEA. The charge nurse said something about it yesterday when SINCE I WAS THERE SHE WAS PREREGISTERING ME! Man...I'm digging this hospital. LOL
She said if I have a menstrual (how do you spell that?) cycle or if anything changes like medication, she'll have to know.

Biscuit I bet it wouldnt prevent you from having the surgery, there would just be some changes ... hmmm weird I think you need to find out LOL
BTW I talked to crystal this morning she said since they are not affiliated with where I had my upper GI they can't request the records SOOO as soon as my FP gets them I will get them.... but other than that everything is ready to be mailed out...

It probably wouldn't but some extra care would need to be taken with my after care since I probably wouldn't be able to reach in that area. EW
Well, can't you have crystal fax over one of those request for records forms? Then you can fill it out and send it to the hospital regarding those records. THEN they can send them STRAIGHT to her?

I might need the blood though...I did sign a waiver to accept blood or blood products (what exactly is a blood product?) in surgery. Most Active
