I went to The Chicago Academy for the Arts. There was no mascot. As far as marrying my high school sweetheart, that's a long long story, so maybe we'll talk tonight at D&B's. Tricia

I graduated in 1986 from Cumberland High School, in Toledo, Illinois. We were the Pirates!! I was in all kinds of extracirricular stuff..... softball, track, pompon captain, swing choir.... I was engaged to be married the day after high school graduation....but I broke his heart about six months earlier. He married the next girl he went out with and they are still married, so I guess that it was supposed to happen. Sometimes I wonder what if....??

I graduated from Glenbard North; our mascot was a panther. I was in band my freshman year, but got tired of ducking. Our director had an unfortunate bad temper and like to throw things at the saxes who sat behind me. His aim wasn't so good, too! Other clubs? All I can remember was ski club and equestrian club. Didn't have a high school sweetheart to marry. 20 years later one of my male friends told me that I intimidated all the boys. What a hoot! I'm about as intimidating at Winnie the Pooh! (I did marry my college sweetie, though. We met in Daytona Beach on Spring Break, but that's another story, involving too much alcohol and a lot of good luck!) Enjoy your day, everyone! Deb

I graduated From Richards Vocational in 88 with a nursing diploma. (Never pursued it) Our mascot was an (We were a girls only school). I was in band (tenor sax) all 4 years, softball, student council, office aide, pretty much a popular geek, if there is such a thing. No, I didn't marry my high school sh but that's a story all it's own. I did marry a guy from the coed school down the block (Arab). Now divorced and remarried to a wonderful man for 11 years. Laura

I graduated from Holy Cross H.S. in River Grove, IL. Sadly, we just found out that this past year was the final year of its existence. It is merging with Guerin H.S., the (previously) all-girl high school right next door. We were the Crusaders. I played football for a year, and wrestled for a year. My junior & senior years I was cast in the plays produced at both high schools. I got to play some really fun parts (Ali Hakim in "Oklahoma", Mr. Snow in "Carousel"), and it gave me the confidence to continue acting in college and beyond. I didn't really have a high school sweetheart (did I mention that Holy Cross was all male?), and most of the girls I dated turned out to be fairly short-term. Luckily, I met the girl of my dreams shortly after college and married her after 5 years of off-and-on dating.
