Yes, Debby, you read that right. I have a date. 8/31/04 August 31, 2004 In 2 weeks, I will be in surgery. Lori, if your ass would have been online you would have known this already! Where the heck are ya today? Here is my schedule: Aug 18th ~ Go in for chat with Crystal about pre-op/post op practices. Any final questions will be asked then. Same Day ~ Go to West Sub for EKG August 23rd ~ Dinner at Maggiano's (Walk related) August 24th ~ Insertion of Greenfield Filter (www.greenfieldfilter.com) August 31st ~ Surgery That's all folks! August 31st I think all posts will be through this screen name from now on so ......... I have to get an IVC filter because I have a history of DVT. You wouldn't need one unless you are at a higher risk for blood clots. The filter is bothering me more than the surgery. LOL They cut a hole in my vein and then run a line up there and then it attaches to the wall. EW! LMAO I love that site. I think it is a great explanation of the surgery. Maybe not EXACTLY what is going to happen to EVERYONE but darn close. We'll be a week apart! You have to give me your number so I can freak out when you're a WEEK POST OP! Me
