I NEED HELP!

Hi Everybody, I am having surgery on the 31st of this month and still have some preop testing to do. I have been having problems at home because my husband has been relapsing back into drugs. We both had been clean since Sept of 2001 but he has relapsed 3 times out of the past month. Thursday he got paid at work and I haven't seen him since. (He has not shown up to work either. I may end up homeless, but that is another story.) We only have one vehicle and I will not be able to make it to my appointments if he doesn't return. I was wondering if anyone lives in my area and would be able to take me to some local appointments over the next couple of weeks. I live on the far east side of Joliet, near New Lenox. Im so sorry about what your going through.I wish i was near you but im not.I hope you make it through this it sounds like you have made it through the most hard part.I wish you lots of luck....

Unfortunately, I do not live near you. But stay strong. And you might want to look into public transportation....even in the suburbs you can get to a lot of places on the PACE bus. My mom takes it to and from work, and to and from most doctor's appointments. Sometimes she has to walk a couple of blocks though.
