I'm APPROVED!!!!

I was starting to worry, I have surgery in 10 days. I just got off the phone with UHC and they told me i'm APPROVED, and the best part is that it's in network, so everything will be paid for, even my hospital stay! I guess all I have left to do now is wait ~Jenn 10 days til LAP RNY

!!!!YEAH!!!! Hey Jenn..... So happy to hear you were approved. I can't make it to D & B's but have a "Special Chocolate Milk" for me. (Bailey's & Kaluha on the rocks). I waiting to hear from my doctor about approval. They called on Friday to switch the date to a week later -Sept. 9th. Again, Congrats!!!! Laura

Congratulations on your surgery date. I also had United Healthcare they were a little slow in paying surgeon it took them a year only because the asst surgeon's code wasn't right when submitted. They are great about covering this surgery. Are you having aprivate room or joint? I had problems with them they would not pay private room fee and it was a difference of $140.00 even though I had no choice in the matter I appealed twice and it was denied both times. I know you do not need to worry about this right now with surgery just a few days a way..Take care and my prayers are with you as you start this journey into a healthier life.
